This cache is located by Olney Springs, Colorado.  Not a lot around this area but we sure can make it a nice spot for geocachers.  This is one of many planned caches to hopefully get a nice power trail going in the area.

As always, with this type of desert terrain, be watchful and cautious for things that poke, sting and bite.  And remember, a good cacher always practices CITO if needed!  Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and happy caching!

Cloche Hat-a fitted bell-shaped hat for women invented in 1908 and became popular from about 1922 to 1933.  The name is derived from "cloche", the french word for bell.

Thanks for the maintenance suggestion. I checked it out, soggy just like you said. Got it replaced with another small treasure with a couple prizes inside. I had to remove the previously damaged cache from its time capsule but hope to include pictures of the before and after soon. For now, no spoilers, just fun finding.

There is an inner container that looks like it got melted due to a fire. The log is very wet period needs maintenance.

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado.
