This cache is similar to one I found in California years ago. A rather clever hide, and hidden in the open.

You will have to bring (and use) a gallon of water to access the cache. The container is a medicine bottle, and can hold small lightweight items. BYOP. Nothing special for the FTF, just a 1/4 oz. sample of gun lube.

I will be updating the history of the area - but suffice to say that this was heavily used in the heyday of Florence.

Please be sure to replace the container and clear the drainage when you leave.

You have to use the water - pour it into the pipe and be quick to grab the container. The pipe is just west of the smokestack.

That was clever but ridiculous because it's not like people can bring a half gallon of water let alone expect to have on a hunt. I did place one of those growing in water dinosaurs and put it down the damn pipe. Found it appropriate for the circumstances lol!

Now this cache was fun. I used the special tool and all I got was a stick. I tried again and nothing. When I want to walk away crumbling, the container finally appeared.
