 Hints

When you approach the final you will see a large rock- kind of egg shaped. The cache is hidden on the western side of the rock formation about two thirds of the way up on a small shelf. The best approach is to come up the slope to the east of the rock and around the top and back down the west side and scramble up to where the cache is. Be careful of loose rocks.

I knew this thing was missing in '14 when I made a very chilly March visit! It was a different kind of sketchy hiking today... then it was frozen solid and the talus slope was hard to negotiate. Today it was on the way down from Cameron, and the loose, loose talus was hard (exhausting) to navigate!!
Anyway, very glad to turn that bluie frown upside down BigSmile

The snow on the trail was crusted over and would break loose to make small avalanches that would go quite aways down the hill.

Anyway, I could see the rock looked free and clear so I continued up to give it a try.

I found the replacement and signed in.

From here I headed back down and left the Multi for some better trail conditions.

Thanks for a fun cache to find and get to!
