A camoed peanut butter jar, behind Holmes Middle School
No trail to this one - bushwhacking all the way. The container is pretty well camoed, but it is out in the open. (Well, that may change as things green up.) Small FTF reward.

Looks like this cache has been cleared out by excavators

Got a sneaking suspicion the would-be excavator never made it back the next day after all.

Yeah, it's probably there and my gps was pretty steady but didn't find it.

I accidentally found this geocache today, I had no idea what it was and sent a photo to my girlfriend. I waited to open it until I got home tonight. we, of course discovered what it was then. I joined and had to sign up for premium in order to log this but it sounds like fun so i'll try it for 6 months. I own the land within a few feet of the cache. the cache is in private open space owned by a church. it's ok for now but when I start excavation I will have to move it. tomorrow morning I will return it. if I had opened it at the site, I would not have taken it home with me. I took a keychain (a sweet plastic dolphin) and left a 1$ coin that I illegally gold plated and my dad's expired pacemaker (he says its worth 60,000, because that's what medicare paid the hospital). i'm thinking its not worth much now.

Amazing camo. Great job. Took awhile and tried several approaches. Tftc

Tftc. Mom found this one. Great camo job. Favorite from us. I would not park at the school, there is a fence and no crossing it, if you park close to the Apts it would be a better walk.

Did the long hike and then the slightl wet hike before taking another long hike to get here. The first long hike revealed two vans parked in the brush (homeless?), also the not direct path. The wet passage was a repeat of a previous hunt (thought it might have dried out some but when the foot sunk it it's time to back up). Anyway, a nice hunt, have to love the green peanut butter jar. Great name that's honest! The best part was finding a rocket tail piece and wondering if Hiking Fool was using it (knowing his past and having not read the description I thought it possible). Greatly appreciate the hunt!
