The Alva B. Adams tunnel  was constructed between 1940 and 1944.  The 13.1 mile tunnel transports water from Grand Lake to Estes Park. Be sure to read the detailed information sign for an interesting bit of history.  The cache is in a waterproof (I hope) camo container. BYOP . First container got muggled but has been replaced. Hope it stays there.
