A beautiful spot for a cache. Watch for ducks, coyotes, rabbits, owls and other wildlife around the ponds.

I placed this cache in a beautiful spot along the highline canal. There are several trails that go off the highline that will take you along the ponds. Being as there are many, many (did I say many?) muggles on the trail I put this in a secluded area. You have to bushwack a few yards off the trail but it is not difficult. You can get to the cache form 2 directions. If the North side trail is flooded then with a little simple trail finding you can go the long way around the pond and come in from the South side. This is about a 1.25 mile walk from the nearest parking lot / trailhead. Be sure to bring your own pen. June 20, 2010 update. I replaced the old cache box with a new and improved version (waaaay better cache box now) and upped the terrain difficulty due to the hike from the parking lot and a little route finding around the pond.

Found by Bella and Edward. Took 2 trips, not easy! Coordinates are about 15-20 feet off.

This is one of my favs for the day since the hike thru woods was awesome and the cache placement was awesome. The water level is really high right now. Good thing we could reach this one.

Catching up on my ridiculous amount of logs that have accumulated for months on end.

I signed a challenge earlier this year that required a large amount of caches to be found and I’m finally at the home stretch. Making a hard push at the end of the month here since weather is in my favor and trying to get this thing wrapped up before years end.

All is well here with the cache and log.

Grabbed this one while out walking the trails with PayMeCache. Since we are both a couple of monkeys on our own, we knew we had to stop and look for this one. Since I am known as the blind monkey, I had to count on PMC (aka the Deaf Monkey) to find it. I have included a picture of one of us monkeying around for your enjoyment.
