Back in 2017, me and my daughter watched a squirrel lose its grip and freefall about 50 feet out of a tree at this location and hit the ground HARD (note: this tree has since been removed).  It lay still for a few moments recovering until a cat ran across the street at tried to eat it.  It recovered just in time to wearily scamper to this hiding spot.  I wanted to honor this intrepid squirrel with a geocache.  Enjoy the park while you are here!
