This is a new series named after U.S. Presidents. I decided to name them after presidents since I started to hide them on Presidents Day. They are all similar hides, and you can park right by most of the caches. Bring your own pen and possibly tweezers, and have fun!

Please let me know if this cache needs any maintaining, such as the log needing replacing, if the cache container is in bad condition, or if you can't find this cache. Hope you find it, and happy caching!

Gerald Ford was born on July 14, 1913, in Omaha, Nebraska. A star college football player, he served in the Navy during WWII. Elected to the House of Representatives in 1948, Ford represented Michigan's 5th District for nearly 25 years before suddenly finding himself at the crossroads of history. He was elevated to vice president, and then became the 38th U.S. president due to Richard Nixon's involvement in the Watergate scandal and subsequent resignation. Ford was defeated by Jimmy Carter in the 1976 election. He died in California in 2006. More information can be found on: http://www.biography.com/people/gerald-ford-9298683

Mrs. Herndonrd had a horse thing between Longmont and Boulder so I spent a couple of days getting some virtuals, earthcaches, and assorted others up in the area. FeartheFish tagged along for part of it. TFTC!

Today I came up from Aurora, to the Boulder area to grab caches in a feeding frenzy with @2lablovers and @Windatmyback. We car pooled to save gas. We found 33 caches today. Most were in good shape. A few were suffering from exposure. TFTC!
