I am out enjoying the last day of my 4th of July weekend. The weather is great and so is the geocaching. Thank you for the fun hide. TNLN.

Broke out the geo-bike and headed out to spend the day caching up on South table mountain. Finally getting to go do these caches after having them on the radar for sometime and with the weather still chilly out, what a better time to go. Not having to worry about walking upon a snake makes it even better. Took a few minutes to finally nab this one after reading a previous log. Nice hide, SL,TFTC

Tough one, but dry and in good shape. I guess each difficulty star stands for 10 feet because it was 30 feet from where coords put me. I knew another cacher in Utah who hides them this way.

Did it survive the fire?

Got up this morning and was planning to do a little geocaching on South Table Mountain. Then it started snowing over the mountains, but it looked to be a quick blast, and fortunately moved on after about 10 minutes. So after changing clothes a few times, I ventured out with the Geodoodle.
Wow - like the prior cacher said, good thing for fireproof caches! Looks like this one had a close call! Found this one after searching around the area and trying to navigate the Geodoodle around the various cacti. When I opened up the cache to get the log, the log disintegrated on me, so I replaced it with a new log in a baggie. TFTC!
