This is a new series named after U.S. Presidents. I decided to name them after presidents since I hid them on Presidents Day. They are all similar hides, and you can park right by most of the caches. Bring your own pen and possibly tweezers, and have fun!

Please let me know if this cache needs any maintaining, such as the log needing replacing, if the cache container is in bad condition, or if you can't find this cache. Hope you find it, and happy caching!

Martin Van Buren was born on December 5, 1782, in Kinderhook, New York. He studied law and held various political positions before serving as U.S. senator, as secretary of state and as vice president. He was elected the eighth president of the United States in 1836, but his policies were unpopular and he failed to win a second term. He died on July 24, 1862, in Kinderhook. More information can be found on: http://www.biography.com/people/martin-van-buren-9515025

We could not get the log out as water had made it inside of the container. Didn’t sign it.

I found this lonely cache on a day that I shouldn't have been out caching. For winter, the weather is relatively mild (just under 50 degrees) but there is still snow on the ground. This one is doing find. TFTC!

This was a quick cache and dash with Nickgatt, T-Dawg, and my three geohounds. We spent most of our day finding caches north of Boulder before the bad winds moved in. TFTC SL.
