This cache is placed near where my husband and I got married in June, 2013.

This is a magical place, especially for my husband and I.  In February 2012, we met purely by chance on the Independence Superchair. I was in the singles line, and the gentleman behind me asked if he could join me on the next chair.  "Sure", I said, and we rode up, chatted, then went our separate ways.  The next day, we ended up riding the same chair again, and again later that day.  We skied the remainder of the week together and ended up falling in love. In June of 2013, we said our vows right here, with our families present.  

This cache is accessible year round.  It will require a hike in the spring/summer/fall, and in winter it's right near where the Independence lets off. If there's no snow on the ground, it will be about 1-2' above the ground. Log only, BYOP.

Found with dmpedersen! It's our first skiing cache and we couldn't be happier that it's this one! The snow is up to the hips, so be careful! Log is in great shape, but cache o rings will need replacing. Tftc!

Found it... sort of. Found the container lid on the ground. No container to be found anywhere. Searched for a good 30 minutes. This is the 3rd time I’ve looked for this cache so glad I didn’t walk away with nothing! I put the lid of the container under a rock on the front side of the tree.

Finally! After I think 3 years of looking I finally found this cache. Walking around these trees in ski boots with deep snow was tough on the old lady but I kept on trying and there it was, in plain sight. First to sign the new log. Great cache in a great location.
