I’m getting better but still really enjoy finding a puzzle I can solve by myself! Thanks for providing a confidence booster for me today.

#1000 out to make my 1000th find. I was looking for a harder cache to celebrate with and this one is it! Very fun. As soon as I saw it, I recognized it and made quick work of the puzzle. I was very glad to see 'success' on the geochecker! I decided to get this one tonight as I need it for my streak and for #1000. The cache was in the right spot. The sunset was amazing. I relished my victory and questioned where #2000 would have me. Hopefully sooner than 13 years!

Thank you for placing this cache! I loved it!

I solved this puzzle ages ago and it has been on my list of solved puzzles since then. Today I was in the area and from the satellite map it looked like it should be a quick and easy grab. Sure enough, I pulled up and spotted it within a few seconds. Part of the container containing the log was on the ground and the other part was still secured. The log was damp but I was still able to sign. I tried to dry it out a bit, but it's still a bit damp. I put the container back together where it belongs and headed for the next one. Thanks for the fun puzzle (fun being one I can actually solve) and the quick find.

Neat chem. puzzle... My gpsr's map is waayyyy not up to date so far as navigating to here is concerned. I parked right by it, questioned myself without getting out, and did a doublecheck on the coord's by phone. Hopped out & there it was !!! BigSmile
