Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  Available at all times  Poison plants  Dangerous Animals  Ticks

We love hiking and enjoy it even more when we can find some nature and solitude to enhance the experience.  This cache is along the start of the trail to Grey Rock.  Enjoy the hike and take time to listen for the birds.  A map of the trail is available at Trail map.

From the parking area use the steps (near the outhouse) to walk toward the River.  Cross the sometimes busy roadway and head down the walk area across the bridge to the start of the trail.  Enjoy.

I planned to get up the canyon this morning to check on my Mountain Vista tribute cache to egroeg38 in Hewlett Gulch and discovered that this new cache was recently published. My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo and I parked at the Greyrocks Mountain parking lot and headed up a VERY, VERY icy trail to the Jiminy cache coordinates. It took a bit of circling before I finally spied the little rascal, so I was pleased when I was able to sign the cache log. Thanks for another one, Pixel Magic!

{FTF} Saw this published last night and decided to attempt an FTF. Been thinking about some Pourde Canyon caches anyway, so headed over this way. Saw a bunch of runners along Horsetooth, but no running numbers, so not sure what that was all about. On to the parking lot and on the trail of ice to the take off to the cache. GPS took me in a bit of a circle, but settled down at the right place to make the find. Is definitely winter friendly, except maybe getting there. And I now have my Feb 2022 Jasmer find as well. #6557
