The cache is not at the posted coordinates. It is at the coordinates for the murderer. You can either go to all three locations or you can solve the riddle to find out who committed the crime. My kids and I had a great time snowshoeing our new favorite area while picking "murder sites". All three locations are close together, but the micro is out of view so you'd be better off figuring out who did it!!*Congratulations to hartsdale on FTF.... now... did he solve it or go to all three spots?!!!**
And special mention to Tom.dog who emailed with FTS (First to Solve) not long after the cache published and then performed some critical maintenance on it today. Thank you.
Here's the story we made up while goofing off with a popular game board during a cold day off school this week.
John Boddy was murdered at Tudor Mansion during a dinner party. In attendance were Mrs White, Colonel Mustard, Mrs Peacock, Professor Plum, Reverend Green and Miss Scarlett. Three of them have solid alibis. The remaining suspects, locations and weapons are:
Professor Plum killed Boddy in the study with the rope
Miss Scarlett killed Boddy in the ballroom with the candlestick
Colonel Mustard killed Boddy in the kitchen with the knife
A review of the night. Everyone starts assembled in the Dining Room for a long elegant meal. After dinner, Professor Plum and Miss Scarlett walk 3 steps to the Lounge. Colonel Mustard wants to play piano and walks 12 steps to the Ballroom. Meanwhile, Mrs White tends to the dinner dishes and Reverend Green and Mrs Peacock decide to retire to the Library. Miss Scarlett excuses herself from the Lounge and takes the secret passage to the Conservatory. Professor Plum decides to walk 7 steps to the hall. Mrs White is washing dishes in the Kitchen when she hears someone behind her. Colonel Mustard has walked 7 steps and is standing behind her with his revolver. Deciding she wants a drink, Mrs Peacock goes 7 steps to the Study and takes a secret passage to the Kitchen. Does she witness a murder? Professor Plum decides to go to the Study to write a letter. He walks 9 steps there. In the Library Reverend Green ties up a bundle of books he wants to borrow with a rope. Then he walks to the Hall to find his coat to leave. Miss Scarlett decides she wants to dance and walks 3 steps to the Ballroom. It is dark so she lights the candlestick. Next thing everyone hears is a scream!!!

07/20/2018 By krazykatzen Better safe than sorry, so I arrested all the suspects on the grounds each must be guilty of something. It was tough finding much evidence, or even determining a motive, but I figure a little time in the clink will get a confession outta one of them. The first crime scene was scrubbed clean... it even scrubbed me clean searching for clues. The 2nd crime scene was a little more shady, but the hummingbirds refused to testify. Finally, I was able to send a tiny and shiny piece of evidence down to the ballistics lab to confirm the case is closed!
01/17/2017 By brennan7 I've had this solved for so long, and finally decided it was time to get a few puzzles in this area! Found it on my way back up to college for the semester. Thanks for the great cache! The container is in great shape!
