Survival Cache in Cactus Park


Ok so this is a series of caches that i am working on, of course this is the first. They will all have some sort of odds and ends inside for survival in the wilderness. Matches, Flashlights, Rope, etc.

This one contains a few small items for light and fire.

Well we wanted to go after it but....... They've (Forest Service I believe) posted a sign at the entrance to the road you need to take the last quarter mile saying it's a "Administrative Route Only" now so you have to walk the last little bit. There were too many others about and we had too much stuff in our razor to just let it sit there on the side of the road out of our sight. Maybe some other time.

Out for a day of fun with the new RZR and a great geocaching friend from North Carolina. Found cache filled with dirt and lid not covering container. Log was wet because it was not in a water tight container. Repaired cache container and replaced log into a baggie. Good to go. Tftf
