As a family we had a lot of fun finding all the "keeps". Thanks for putting together this tremendously fun cache!

Well, as a family we have very little free time for caching, so when we do we like to do challenging caches, and this one certainly fits the bill! We had a Sunday afternoon free, so off we went. I drove while Sam_I_AM and HelloKitty played "I Spy", so all the credit for finding these "keeps" goes to them (and who knew there were so many of them)? Well, Sam_I_AM does, since she has an eye for architecture and knew where many of these were just by the photos. HelloKitty practiced her math skills and was the official "Crosser-Offer" of the list. Anyway, I got to contribute at the end by retrieving and signing the log. This was the most pleasant cache we've done in a long time, and was a great family outing!
Congrats to Denali for FTF, and for the record we spent about 3.5 hrs on this one, not counting a nice lunch break half-way through. Thanks Tahosa and Sons for yet another great cache!

Over several years I’ve worked hard to compile a photo library with corresponding coordinates of sculptures, stone and metal art, clocks, transformer cabinet paintings, other art works and interesting buildings, etc. in Fort Collins as I created my images puzzle series “What Time Ya Got, Fort Collins?”; “Where Art Thou, Fort Collins?” (five caches in this theme series); “Transform Yourself, Fort Collins” (seven caches in this theme series); “Ride a Painted Pony”; and some other puzzles that are still to come out. So I was excited when I saw the publication of this superb images puzzle by Tahosa and Sons! I figured that I had visited essentially all neighborhoods in the southeastern quadrant of the city and would probably already have pictures and coordinates for many of the locations used in this new piece of geocaching art. So a slam dunk, correct? Not so, I discovered!! I had only 2 or 3, and had no idea where the others were located. It quickly dawned on me that Joe and team had done a remarkable job of canvassing the SE sector of Fort Collins to locate challenging-to-find Keeps and Time pieces! So, even with the realization that I probably had a bunch more insight into possibilities than other cache seekers might have, it was clear that I had my work cut out in order to locate the other images needed in order to calculate the location of the final cache. So a portion of my free time the past several days has been devoted to driving around in Fort Collins’ localities that were “new” to me, and revisiting familiar spots where I might have overlooked some objects during past visits! And yes, I had earlier missed some important items.

It’s been a fun, encompassing engagement, and late yesterday I completed my work. The cache log book has been signed in the {FTF} position. And what a NEAT hide! It fits right in with another of my special avocations.

Throughout my searches a thought recurred and recurred to me: what goes around comes around. The inspiration behind my image puzzle caches came from the “Images I” cache created by Tahosa and Sons on Round Mountain so many years ago. It captivated me. I loved it. After finding it soon after I began geocaching, my thoughts kept returning to its creativity. Finding Images I and some caches in Boulder eventually drove me to develop the image puzzle cache series in Fort Collins. Then, after Joe and family returned from their time in Arizona, he extended my use of special image themes in Fort Collins in several of his caches, now culminated by this marvelous, challenging picture sequence. It all began with Images I.

A final thought: “Keep” a “Simple” “Time” log of how long it takes you to locate the 12 images needed in this cache. Record the total time in your Found it log. After 3 years I’ll review the recorded times, and reward the “winner” by buying him/her a brew at Zwei. It will look like gallery image 14. Tahosa and Sons will also be invited as guests to join us. And the winner will also be listed along with the elapsed time in my cache GC6Z15 “How Fast is FAST?! Perhaps we can persuade the folks at Zwei to maintain and post a listing of cachers and their total times. Patrons seeing the listing might inquire and learn about this marvelous game we engage in.

Thanks for another good one, Tahosa and Sons!!
