Staying at the hotel where this cache is located so finally it wasn't raining this evening so took a walk and stopped by here just before dark. Well what an experience it because. Arriving at GZ I was initially on the phone for a bit as daylight began to fade away. Finished the call and got serious about finding the cache. The map was pointing to a little different place but with the hint was able to locate the tiny thing fairly quickly. Retrieved the log and while trying to juggle my pen, phone, and half of the container that was removed with the log in it dropped the container. By this time of course it was just barely daylight. This piece fell among ground vegetation and debris that hid it very well. Searched for a while with the light from my phone but couldn't find it. Decided to resume the search the next morning. Early Thursday morning resumed the search and it still took nearly 30 minutes and clearing a big space where I was standing the night before to finally locate the part so it could be left just as I found it. Just before spotting it thoughts were going thru my head about what an apology post or note to the CO would be about my losing part of his container.
Fortunately everything is still just fine with this cache.
Thanks for the hide.
