This is a quick and easy two stage multi-cache. Go to the posted coordinates to gather the information necessary to find the actual cache. It is less than a mile away.

Why is this monument here? If anyone knows please post the information in your log.

The monument is on private property. Do not cross the fence. You can read the plaque on the monument from outside the fence if you have good vision. If your vision is less than perfect you can use the zoom on your smart phone or bring binoculars.

A = The number of lines of text on the plaque minus 6.
B = The number of letters in the next to last line minus 4.

This is a small container with room for a few trade items and small trackables. There is an FTF prize, a travel bug, and a few swag items. Please replace the container out of sight and report any issues.

I went out to find a new cache in Phantom Canyon and stopped to check on some of my caches on the way back. This one is in great condition and waiting patiently to be found. I added some wheat pennies and a travel bug. Cache on!

Stopped and grabbed this one on the way back from Pueblo. Been by here many times and never stopped to look at the monument.

I went out to log a cache for International Geocaching Day and then went on a cache maintenance run. I saw the note from the previous finder about the missing log so I brought a replacement. Who steals the log out of a cache? This one is good to go. Cache on!

I've got pictures of this monument somewhere but couldn't manage to find 'em. nite_raven and I love finding things like this. I'd submitted it as an Ingress portal and a Pokestop a few years back without any luck. After figuring out stage 2 we headed over. Not the direction I was expecting. This road could use some love.

Not too much traffic today. We took the picture of the text yesterday, yet had to look at it on the computer screen to make out the words. Quite a few bullet dings in the metal. Makes us wonder how old it is. Got our smiley. Tftc.

Shouldn't have had that second coffee before heading out, missed the FTF by 15 minutes. And I agree, lots of traffic. And windy! I had a hard time reading the plaque even with steadying my binoc's on the gate. Discovered the geocoin, TNLN thanks for the simple puzzle.

FTF at about 9:15. I was heading to Florence to do some maintenance on a few of our caches and headed down Highway 123 to grab these two new ones. Kind of windy this morning and a lot of traffic on this road. Nice pull off for this one. Discovered the TB and we're off to the next one. Thanks for the easy ones. [8d][8d] SL TFTC TNLN

Looks like someone is back from retirement .....

I am sitting on 1,499 and thought this one might make a nice round 1,500, but by the time I got down here it have been found twice.

Kindof don't want to do a simple road side mirco.
