Okay, this cache is a relative of “Your Guess is as Good as Mine” GC14X5G near downtown Littleton. This cache location is a replacement for the “Triangulum Anniversary Cache” that tucsonjuan placed some years ago; same easy-to-find telephone pole. The lock failed to open on that one, so it went by the wayside.
The cache is at the posted coordinates, but you will need the combination to the padlock. Your guess and a little simple math should get the box open.
1. You determine your favorite 4-digit number, not repeating any single number.
a. Rearrange the number to make it as large as possible.
b. Rearrange the number again to make it as small as possible.
c. Subtract the smaller number from the larger.
d. Take the result and repeat steps a. through c. until you don’t see a need to do this any longer. It will come to you.
2. Your lock combination will be determined by:
Using the second and fourth number for the first lock combination number. (Don't add)
Multiplying the third number by zero for your second lock combination number.
Using your first number for the last lock combination number.
To open: 3 turns right past your first number until you're there again. One turn around left past the second number until you’re there again. Back right to the last number. Hope that yours was a good guess. If you need to check your numbers, give us a holler. Buenos suerte.
