This is a ski in ski out cache for those cachers that might be skiing at Keystone. It is at the bottom of an intermediate run, but because of the effort required to get here, the terrain is rated high. The cache is camo'd like other caches of ours on the mountain if that helps. This is a log only cache so bring your own pen.
We really like caching and skiing and so we have left another cache for those who like this combination also. This was left for skiers, but it might be accessible to the hardy in the summer.

Thanks for placing a ski in ski out cache. Good snow but very cold. Cache is in good shape, everything is dry.

Found it while snowboarding with the family. I love finding caches while skiing! It was in good shape and I even found the missing lid lying on the snow and replaced that. SL TFTC

We're back.... closing day at Keystone (so sad), skiing right up until the bitter end. We hit Alamo about an hour before shut down so we can pretty safely say we're the last ones to see it this ski season. As promised, we brought along a couple various attachment methods. Decided the best way was to duct tape the container to the branch, it should stay in place for the foreseeable future. The spoiler picture below will show you exactly what to look for.

Five days ago we had no intention of skiing again this winter but after seeing that Colorado was getting fresh snow and figuring out cheap lodging, we decided to use our season passes for some last-minute fun. Sixteen short hours of driving later and we're skiing Beaver Creek for the first time in many years and then Keystone on its closing weekend.

First time down the run we went 100' past GZ, second try we went slower as we approached and easily made the find. As I opened the top, both plastic ties broke off the branch... oops. After logging in, I temporarily placed the cache in back of the sign and plan to return tomorrow with a more permanent solution. Thanks CFBaer for this truly awesome ski-in cache, we really love combining these two great activities.
