I decided to re-hide this cache in a different location and increase the difficulty & terrain.

You might scratch your head a little when you arrive at the coordinates, so you'll need to use your geo-senses.

Today's adventure led us ( @intrepiidexplorer and @WindAtMyBack ) to the wilderness east of Castle Rock. We walked into Hidden Mesa to grab the caches and experience this beautiful day. The weather was cooperative - sunny, but not too hot. During our expedition we saw several hawks and hummingbirds, caught and released a fence lizard, and saw a few wild turkeys. Cactus flowers are in bloom. No snakes were sighted, but we saw evidence that one had recently crossed the walking path.
I must have had my geo-senses turned off for this one. I wandered around, became certain that the coords were bad and that it was missing. Then, as I stomped to my FJ, a thought came to me. I grabbed my flashlight and jacket and went looking for one more thing. Yep, that's it! Found a rats nest with baby rats near the cache. After petting them and a short video, we headed along the way. TFTC!

I overlooked the entrance the first time! Luckily, lostindenver found it after looking a second time. We also found this rat's nest right next to the cache. Tftc!

Dropped the dogs off for grooming and decided to try this one. Had the right idea, so it was a quick find. Signed log. Thanks for a nifty hide!

Stopped by the cache today after a short hike. I was more nervous about where to park the car than I was retrieving the cache. All is in good shape. Sl, thanks!

Apparently we have no geo sense...traffic was terrible in that spot...including 3 police cars doing 80...just plain gave up:(
