Originally I wanted this series to be a set of challenge caches - asking people to hide a variations of numbers and types of caches before they could claim these caches. But it seems that requiring hides brings up the concern that some cachers might hide a bunch without maintaining them. So instead, I will honor cachers who give back to the game by placing a noticeable number of hides.

Headed down south of Elbert for some backroads caching with geoguru1. This was a previous DNF for us, and reading the previous logs we saw it had been replaced again, with info on where. Still looked around quite a bit. Not even any trash visible. Must be a cache-eating tree, there are some of those around. Not about to take another DNF, so left a fresh replacement about where PMC left his, wedged close to the trunk. SL

Going on a caching expedition with Robespierre50 down south of Elbert. Great day. Searched high and low. This cache has a very sketchy history. Made a replacement out of Robespierre's bag of goodies and left in what has to be the right location. SL
