A short but steep hike on another section of the Paul Intemann Memorial Nature Trail. Park at N38º 50.567 W104º 54.194.
I recieved this cache container at the 2005 Holiday Get-Together from the Witz family (hence the name of the cache). It is a camo'd 1-gallon plastic container. No need to bushwack; the cache is located a short distance from the trail. Beware of cacti in the area! Update (1/31/06) Cache was formerly too close to the waypoint of a multi-cache. To avoid confusion, the cache has been moved a short distance. Coordinates at the top of the page are correct.

Thanks for the cache! I parked down below and made a quick climb of the trail to this cache! Found it quickly and signed and stamped the log. I also became a $1 richer! Woo Hoo! Cash in a cache! TY!! Replaced everything as found. All is well here!

We enjoyed a beautiful hike this afternoon on this gorgeous Colorado fall day, picking up a mystery cache and a few traditionals. This one had "rolled" out of its hidey-hole and was laying almost in the open. Signed log, dropped TB and rehid at our GZ. Thanks for this cache!

Warm day for a hike but I have been meaning to grab the caches on this side of the trail for awhile. Thanks for the incentive to revisit this area. TFTC!

An item that had remained on our to-do list was to make a summer trip to Colorado. This year marked our opportunity and as we often do, we weaved in some caches along the way and during our various activities. We focused on a variety of caches, but mainly new counties, puzzle caches, and some higher D/T combinations. Our trip was great and geocaching again added to our experience, even taking us to areas we wouldn't have gone otherwise.

This one wasn't on the original list, but we notioned there might be a cache nearby as we made our way along the trail. A quick check confirmed our suspicion and a couple hundred feet later, we were in the vicinity to make the grab and claim another nice smiley. Happy 10 years - always like finding the "aged" caches. Thanks for the hide.
