UPDATE: July 26, 2016. Replaced and moved the container to a new spot. Be very careful when retrieving it or you WILL get bloody. I recommend wearing gloves. I upped the difficulty a notch to reflect the difficulty of retrieving the container without getting any puncture wounds.

Another little park that didn't have a cache. This is a log only, bring your own writing instrument. Kids play around this area, so I tried to place this where it would be out of sight of children.

Park hours are 5:00 AM to 11:00PM.

TFTC. this was a bit different for this kind of hides than we've seen before. SL. Will give it a FAV as this c.o. really does a good maintenance job on his caches.

Today was a great day in the Canon City Royal Gorge area. The morning started with a raft trip thru the gorge and included a dunk in the river - now a member of the Arkansas River Swim Team!! After lunch we went geocaching and had a great time finding a number of caches around town. We had 5 smilies and no DNFs!! Yay. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches. This was the last of our caches for the afternoon. A delicate touch allowed me to retrieve this cache, SL and return to it's cute hiding location. TFTC and helping us have a fun afternoon.
