GPS signal is erratic in this area and generally unhelpful. It’s better to do some satellite views and follow some directions. There are 4 tiers at GZ. One of these tiers is unlike the rest.. If you are on the right path you will arrive at the point of eminent collapse and here you will begin your search.The path is narrow on the journey to the destination and unfriendly desideous sentinels will try to draw blood as you battle past them. You will be searching for a 7.62 Ammo can. Sounds easy right?

The mall security is pretty unfriendly about people being in their parking lot so it’s best to approach this from the north or northwest where there is street parking. The cache is not in the parking lot so it’s best to not go there unless you are shopping.

DNF. Mall security politely asked us to leave while searching. Probably little chance of it being found again.

We have been avoiding this cache for months because we do our utmost to avoid confrontations with security guards. Today we were in the area and checking on our cache, Prairie Dog Field, and realized that was the perfect way to get to this cache. We carefully made our way along the narrow path to the cache site. Looked at a few wrong places, but then got our hands on this great cache. Left a TB.

First I must say that this was a difficult hide. We have been here once before but did not make the find. So this blue face has been haunting me. Today we made this incredible find. Thank goodness we made the find between the storms. This also happens to be the last hide we need to claim the last Hidden Creature. The world turtle is ours.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

My son and I decided to attempt this one today, as we snagged the easy one out in the field. From that perspective, I was pretty certain of what level it would be on, given the name. We travel to that point and were extremely sure we were in the right spot. Problem was my brain was just registering ammo can, and not necessarily the size. Luckily my son likes to peer in smaller darker holes and poke around and he made the find. We did this one in sandals and shorts and came out unscathed, so not too bad
