We really wanted to put this on the top of Sheep Nose but we wanted the series to be available year round and accessable to any fit person and the route to the summit is 'pretty sketchy'. So we also placed Sheep Nose Bonus Cache on the summit of Sheep Nose.
To get to this cache we parked at the provided coordinates and skirted the rocks to the west until we were directly west of the Sheep Nose saddle and then headed up to the saddle and north to the cache. There's not much of a trail in the valley and it's scampering around boulders the rest of the way up the fairly steep hill. No climbing or bouldering required if you choose a good path. It's less than a mile from the parking spot to the cache.

Container is a large micro which may have room for small trackables.
Special thanks to Kimberly for the container and to muggles paul and isaiah for help on scouting trips.

The other Sheep Series caches are Here.

Congrats to hartsdale for being FTF.

What Ernie means is that it's easier to access for people with short legs. I had to hobble up this one as I twisted my knee doing the bonus cache. I wish the wind wasn't blowing so hard at the top so we could have stayed longer. Just wondering if that cache container is supposed to have a plug in its anatomy. The log was soaked and we didn't have anything to replace it with or to seal the hole with. I guess we have one more Sheep cache left to do and I'm hoping there aren't any bonuses attached. Thanks for the fun.

Estes01 and I returned to the saddle from the Bonus Cache and headed over to this one. Quite a bit easier to access Smile. Great view from here!

Snailman1 and I headed over to this one a little concerned with the dark clouds around. Got the cache after a search and took a picture of the clue. We found an easier way down than what we took up (isn't that always the case?!) A little later, the sun came out and it warmed up for us.
Thanks for the cache!
