A small log only cache hidden on the ski slopes of Keystone Mountain. Bring your own pen that writes in the cold.
Another ski in and ski out cache on Keystone mountain. It was placed in winter for ski access. But it should be accessible to intermediate and advanced level skiers in the winter and robust hikers and bikers in the summer. Hopefully the placement will stand the test of time. We hope you enjoy this fine mountain as much as we do. Stealth will certainly be required during the ski season. Please be gentle retrieving this cache.

#684 for team Torkelson! And our first in Keystone. Took two days to find it...after the initial miss I had to look at old pictures for help. Lower than we thought, and in fact it was buried under the snow! Cache is in great shape. SL, took squishy frog and left a bracelet from my daughter’s elementary school in England! Tftc!

We love to be able to ski to caches and this is one of the easiest to get to. It's only a few feet off the trail, no need to go too far into the woods. Since we've been here a few times before we knew the right area to search, it still took a few minutes to find since the deep snow was covering the branch a bit (Keystone got 2-3' of new snow the last few days, yay!). Thanks again CFBaer for this awesome ski cache, hopefully it sees more visitors than just us.

Hubby had recent back surgery so I've been skiing solo this trip, Keystone got over a foot of snow last night so conditions were awesome for it being April and closing weekend. Thanks to Indigo Parrish's picture I knew right where to head to, found it very quickly. Cache is in good shape, looks like I'll probably be the last one skiing to this one this season. Thanks again CFBaer... we'll be back.

Hi

Found it 03/14/2018 By Indigo Parrish
3/12/2018 Stopped by while skiiing with the family. I spent some time looking around GZ but did not see anything out of the ordinary. I'll revisit again tomorrow ...

3/13/2018 Success! This time I snowboarded right up to it. The cache is in great shape and is hidden just as intended. Problem was I forgot my pen, so I'll sign it tomorrow ...

3/14/2018 Finally signed the log today. Cool

Skied past this on the first attempt. Second try I got in the right area and was able to find the suspect branch. Wasn't able to sign as pen wasn't working. TFTC! All still in good shape.
