I tried. I really did. So many hiding places combined with gps bouncing all over and running short on time ended my attempt. Maybe next year when I am back in CO!

Day 2 of 5 of TeamIDFC's Southwest Colorado DeLorme/Counties road-trip has thus far been a disaster. A DNF at Bishop, followed by a DNF at "enjoy the trail". Normally, 2 DNFs are cause for frustration, not panic. In this case, we HAVE to get a cache in Page 89 for the DeLorme Challenge, but we're quickly running out of options that don't involved hours and hours of additional driving.

Being the well-seasoned cachers that we are, we nievely assumed that an 0-for-3 start to the day was an unlikely occurance. Well, after the sweaty hike to GZ, the sap covered hands, and the scratches from the bushes we emerged... with... Nothing.

DNF #3 in a row. Wow. Do we have to give back our Geocacher cards? We clearly did not start the day in touch with Colorado cache placement... :(

What a great area and an outstanding cache. We are still pretty new to this, and we were pleased to sniff this one out. Really nice job.
