Near one of several 'Castles'.
Set this cache on a balmy January day with my best friend. Been wanting to check this area out for a while.

High clearance is recommended for the road approaching the cache. 4WD needed in winter. You will need to go off trail from the trailhead to the cache. The hike is well worth the view at the top of the Collegiate peaks.

The cache should be fairly easy to find. There are several ways to hike to the cache from the nearest road. Some ways are less steep than others and it might take an arc to get to the cache instead of a straight line.

Should be easy with children. No need to get close to cliffs or rock edges. Parents should keep an eye on their children as there are many rocks and boulders to climb around and on. Enjoy what Colorado has to offer in the Castle Gulch area. Be sure to check out the other caches in this area.

If cachers think the difficulty/terrain ratings need to be adjusted, please let me kow..

We were camping nearby for my birthday weekend & had borrowed an ATV to ride over to Chinaman Gulch. The road to this cache is very pretty but there was someone camping right at the end where we had to park to climb to this cache so it made us feel a little intrusive, but there was a cache to be found. Then we found out there is also a trailhead here, so I figured if you're willing to camp in front of a trailhead you should expect some visitors.
