This is a memorial cache for Bikedogwho passed away on 12 January 2006 after a tragic motorcycle accident.

Bikedog was a long time San Diego area geocacher. He got his start caching with his caching buddy Howling Wolf back in early 2001. "It's All Good" was one of Bikedog's favorite sayings and it definitely reflected his attitude in life.

Bikedog cartoon from Yrium's Pals #4 original series of Geocaching Trading Cards. Read about them here. You can view the entire series here.

Getting to the cache involves a short steep hike from Crystal Valley Parkway. If you initially head to N39 20.304 W104 51.338, you will find a rock cairn. From there, you can follow the other rock cairns on a crude trail to the cache area. The Front Range views from the cache area are spectacular. Make sure you look towards the houses to the south-east and wave because RocketMan may be watching you from his back yard.

The cache is well covered, please make sure you leave it that way when you are done logging. The cache started out with the standard premium RocketMan geoswag. Please try to trade fairly. There is an FTF prize of a not yet activated SDGeocoin. There is also a RocketMan SDGeocoin that is ready to start its journey.

You will also find a bag of Bikedog memorial cards that were created by Flagman. Please feel free to take one.

Wow. This took me about 40 minutes lol. I was roughly in the right area but lots of rocks and holes! I even called a friend. In the end I made the find. Nice hide. SL. Took 2 TBs to move. Figures this isn't a high traffic area. No snakes!

This is a gorgeous spot for a cache - and a tough hide with all those rocks; it took me a while to find this one. Took nothing, left a TB. Thanks for a great cache memorializing your friend.
