Revived the container that was placed here by another cacher and must now be archived. Just moved it to a new spot. Even used the original log. Turned it to a fresh page so FTF will be the starter of a new cache.
Swallows cemetery sleeps here in windswept sunshine. The community of Swallows (named for the birds who built nests all along these bluffs) was first settled in the 1870's by adventurous, reckless, and curious pioneers who were determined to carve out a living in the West. Here they found an attractive spot with plenty of bottomland, fertile soil and abundant water. Today this cemetery is all that remains of that once vibrant community. You see only open spaces, fishing holes, turkey habitats and wetlands where once cornfields, orchards, and livestock thrived. Many children, who died of diptheria, typhoid, and meningitis, are resting here. The three MC Elroy boys all died in July 1891.

 Hints

Have a cache in another cemetery and several clod geocachers have ' off roaded' between the graves to save themselves 50 steps. Amazes me that now a few of you are disturbed that this little boy now has somebody to come see him and his brothers. If you'd read the description you'd know why I put it where I did. If it annoys you so much feel free to rehide it 3 feet left or right.

I went out to find a few Hidden Creatures today. I found 12 caches, replaced several, and did some enjoyable hiking. I don't know why I haven't stopped for this one before. I love cemeteries, especially old cemeteries. Unfortunately the container seemed to be missing (or I may have been temporarily blind). I left a replacement match stick container with the middle McElroy boy. I have no problem with the placement. When I die I hope someone puts a geocache on my grave. Thanks for the incentive to revisit this awesome old cemetery.

Thanks to a big hint from the cache owner I went back and found it today. It was right where it was supposed to be. Signed the log and left a fossil tooth.

I turned over a lot of rocks at GZ before giving up. Either this one's gone, my GPSr is off or the co-ords are.
