Heap of Jeeps

This cache is a CHALLENGE CACHE. You must complete the requirements before logging this cache. This cache is for all of us who love to see the Jeep travel bugs. This cache is at the above listing in the guard rail. there is parking close by.
To log this cache you must post a picture of your self with the different color jeep travel bugs. Right now there are four colors: White, Yellow, Green and Red. The longer you wait to log this cache the harder it may become. We hope Jeep will keep giving us new colors every year and they will be included as they show up. All of the jeeps can be in the same picture or you can have four different pictures. You may even use older pictures if you just happen to have a few. You can include a few pictures of real Jeeps but you must have the travel bug dog tags showing to get credit for this cache. Get creative.

When I saw this cache I remembered HD sharing his Jeep collection at the Australia event and I had taken a picture of them with my phone, problem was finding the pic since I had a new phone since then. Was able to find it and now can log the find. Thanks HD for sharing your Jeeps and thanks Challenge Lover for the cache.

I was at a Leap Day event back in 2016 when Seabee-MC/HNY brought all of the necessary jeeps to allow attendees to satisfy requirements for an equivalent cache in San Antonio.

I came up to Colorado Springs today to get the radio replaced in my truck. Afterwards I decided I needed to hung for some Hidden Creatures. I needed 13 more for the Dragon Souvenir. With only one day left the World Turtle Souvenir is probably out of reach. This cache has been on my radar forever--well for a couple of years anyway. I couldn't find anything in the obvious spot and looked around at a couple of nearby spots. After a thorough search I left a replacement film canister. Photo attached. Thanks for the fun challenge!

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

I was in the Springs for a funeral today and decided to take my mind off things by getting some Virtuals and Challenges. I have had my picture for a quite a while because I knew about this cache. I just never knew where it was until I spotted this line of challenge caches last night.

After spending the morning at Seven Falls, we cached around for awhile. Decided on Cicis for lunch and realized we were right by this cache. So far we've managed to see complete sets from kyotmoon (pictured), KJKlock, and hartsdale. Thanks a bunch for sharing guys! Got our work vans done at the nearby sign shop awhile back, but didn't meet the challenge then. Thanks for the challenge involving an iconic part of geo-history.
