Alien Blogger here again,

I believed my blog post, GC826PG, would be my last, but they haven’t found me yet. I have poured over the documents and discovered that the aliens are using a new type of communication. I was able to retrieve the communication and decode it. Be warned, the message is terrifying. Here is what it said,

“Today is the end of humanity as you know it. We have landed in several locations and have control over the air, land, and sea. Your military cannot help you. Resistance is futile.”

The transmission was followed by coordinates to this location. I urge all of you to prepare. Please gather at this location and search for the alien pod (cache). Sign it if you find it and search for others.

I couldn’t pass up my chance to get another invasion hide after doing a kid swap with the grandparents in Silverthorne. My son and I crawled around for about 5 minutes before making the find. The hint did not apply to where we found it, but we decided to put it back where it was because it could get dislodged in the other place, with snow and such. It might be more difficult than intended, but we felt better not changing it around.

Sneaky little bugger!

Kicking off the summer with a great American road trip to celebrate M4ISU’s belated birthday!  After months of planning, I am finally on the road with Stephenjha as my copilot.  I am logging as we go which makes it easier to keep track of the HUGE playlist we are hoping to accomplish.  If all goes well, I’ll drive 2500+ miles, add 50+ new counties, see 5 different states, find some cool cemeteries, increase my Fizzy and Jasmer progress, find 20+ virtuals, a handful of Earthcaches, a Wherigo, and maybe a webcam or 2!  It’s going to be a crazy weekend!

A tip for future searchers: It is very difficult to search for this pod without attracting attention. When a local muggle asked me what I was doing, I said with a straight face, “Looking for evidence of the alien invasion. Have you seen anything suspicious?” Satisfied with my response, he said, “No” and moved on. Try to blend in. They are used to that here.

An alien invasion in Idaho Springs? This is nothing new. They will feel at home here. But trying to find a specific alien in this town is proving very difficult. I confirm the rating! Blogger should be safe hiding out here for a while.
