Welcome Sumesh to the USA and Colorado. It was great hiking with you in this area and I was glad to be able to help you learn about geocaching more. This is a great cache and should be here for years to come for others to come and see the beauty of Colorado from this great location. I attached a video to this for you to have as a reminder as well.

Welcome indeed.
I hope that the Cache Owner felt welcome during his visit to Fort Collins. I appreciated the opportunity to hike with Suz_In and find some caches together a few weeks ago. Thanks as well to Barsaur for providing the opportunity to cache with Sumesh. I feel privileged to have been a beta tester on this cache and to assist in its development. Congrats to Denali41 for his FTF. These hills are his back yard.

For the past 8 or 10 days I have been at the computer a lot trying to figure out a solution to a problem I've been having with a wherigo cartridge I developed that has not been working correctly. Fortunately, Tom Duddy (Dud&Plato) has been volunteering his assistance far above and beyond, in so very many ways. We don't have that rascal figured out yet, but it's become my "exhaustipation"--that's a new word on course to becoming accepted soon by the major dictionaries if I have my way on it.
Well, as I've labored on that wherigo solution mission, my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo have been going stark nuts. No hikes, no outside excitement...what a dismal state of affairs--we clearly have the wrong daddy who only cares about his computer monitor. They look at me with those pleading looks that I've come to understand well. Last night, when I noted that the weather for today was to be favorable, I gave them a promise. We'd take a hike. And of course this new cache was certainly near or at the top of my radar, and getting to it would also give me a chance to check on my "On The Road To Recovery--Reprised" cache that's nearby. It would certainly provide some needed physical work, and mental relief from that damned wherigo dilemma!
So this morning off the three of us went on what turned out to be a marvelous hike together. Even though I've walked across that long ice stretch many times in the past and made repeated brutal hikes up that steep slope, this time it seemed even tougher on my body. It really was challenging. I need to figure out how to become younger. And despite the cache name, the experience was not "welcoming" to my body on this day, even though it should have been! I lagged, and my puppies constantly needed to look back down at me! We finally got to the cache vicinity. Lots and lots and lots of hiding possibilities, indeed! I was fortunate to key in on the correct area soon, and quickly had the cache in hand. I opened the container while holding my breath. Not a single name on the log sheet as a finder until I penned mine in!!! {FTF} on a great cache and a great D/T combination! The experience was augmented by the weather being superb--NO wind, temperatures in the 50s. I will post a few photos soon. Thanks, Suz_In, for a wonderful first cache hide for you! Keep them coming.
