GPS was a lil outta control, two of us looked in all the spots we thought it could be. The climb is NO JOKE! My gps says it's a 400 ft climb. Stick near the rocks, don't get caught on the smooth dirt near the top. It was fun going down in the "black sand" (coal?).

A beautiful day for a little hiking, jeeping and caching. I couldn't find the old cache so I replaced it with a magnetic key case. I don't know where it originally was so I picked what I thought would have been a good place. (JURRY) tftc

Found it! At least I think I did. Not much left of it. In DESPERATE need of maintenance. After a climb like that, this was rather disappointing. Signed "log"

After a steep climb we found what appeared to be the remains of the cache; several log book pages, a plastic baggie and parts of a container hidden near GZ. We signed one of the pages and returned the items to their hiding place. This cache definitely needs maintenance! Great spot for lunch with a view!
