I managed to pick this one up on the inbound leg of what I’ll call overnight Sentinel Loop+, taking the free / hard way. I’ve never been here before, so I appreciate the nice caches along the route to serve as my motivation. I was running out of daylight and worried about making the find on this one, but fortunately I did. Looking down into West Fork West Beaver Creek from GZ, I remember how happy I felt that I didn’t have to go down there for another cache then hike back up. Thanks to the CO for palcing this cache, and all of the nice caches up here, for everyone to find. TFTC.

What an epic caching weekend! Covered a lot of ground! Today was all about Pikes Peak. Started bright and early with a hike along this ridge from Devil's Playground. Weather was iffy on the way out, but cleared up pretty quickly. Thanks for placing this cache!

Great one to follow up with after doing the Playground. What I found interesting was there is a pretty good view back to the Playground. Had a great hike up from the parking lot, little winded on the trail but no problem up here! Appreciate the placement, time to move on.

Thanks! are due and due again to several CO's for another excellent outing on the peak. I stayed mostly at a 'drove-to' altitude. Saw a ton of tiny tundra plants in real nice bloom; listened to the resident birds and rodents all day; hardly heard a man made noise the whole time; and then had to make one scootin' hike back to parking to get layers and rain gear on.
But UH OH! I'm on a motorcycle !!! Well anyway I got below tree line before all the lightning really cranked up!

Well it turned out I had walked past this a few hundred feet by the time I got X distance from parking and switched on the real 'brains' of the operation. Just swung on by on my way back... but grey curtains were closing in from the west and would only just save closing until I got on the PP Highway.

Went on a major cache trek run today along this ridge line and grabbed it on the way back from Sentinel Point. The cache is well protected in its location and was a pleasure to find today as the trek back tried to beat the impending summer afternoon storm!!

#33166 Found with jellis on our way down from the summit of Pike's Peak. This is the first time I've ever done a hike like this at such a high altitude. However, the scenery was well worth the effort. I didn't have time to find all of the caches out this way since there were people waiting on me back at the car. However, I did really enjoy the couple that I did manage to reach. Thanks for the fun hike in the thin air. Found the cache easily after a short search. Signed in and headed off down the trail. TFTC
