This backcountry cache requires serious bushwhacking through difficult terrain. Make certain that you carry adequate emergency supplies in your backpack, in the event of weather changes or unexpected problems. Inform someone who is not going with you, of your anticipated route; check back in with that person after your return.

The cache is located less than 700 feet from CP 3 (GCA744). The container is flat, and is located in a small stone wall that is a short distance downhill from an exploratory pit. Bring your own writing implement, and make certain that you reseal the cache container carefully. Have fun on this strenuous hike!

At this point I thought the "fun" was mostly over but the half mile from here back to the trail was anything but easy. It took a few minutes to find but it was right where it should be. TFTC

I got lucky and spotted it there were alot of downed leaves over GZ.

I am glad we are going down hill now.

Thanks for another hide along the way.

I am glad that we approached this one for the top side and not from the bottom up. I can't imagine bushwhacking through that shrub oak and going up hill at the same time. Thanks for placing these caches along the way to Hard as Hell and giving us something else to look for on this excursion!
