Greetings to "How old is it?" Every time this cache is found my middle school students will be challenged with an in-class activity where they guess the age (when they first evolved on earth) of a particular organism.  For example, I might project the image below and ask students when did Ferns first appear in the fossil record? I would give students 1-2 minutes to talk it over with one another and write a number/age down on dry erase boards.  If the majority of student groups get within a certain pre-determined range (say 100 million) then they win.

Finid a cache and change the day of about 60 kids.  :)

I had to wait out some dog walkers so I put in the coords from Seekdacache and then made the quick find and sign.

No problems founding the cache. I just needed to search a bit and look in the right spot.

Was a bit suspicious poking around in the dark with a flashlight and then had a nice slip and fall so gave it up for the night. Will come back during a dry day.

With an unusally warm day in January, we decided to head out on a caching adventure to clean-up the new caches in the area. Nice short walk to GZ. Used FLM coords to make the find. Nice hide, SL,TFTC
