Gave this one a good try but could not even find the first waypoint. Will put on our watch list.

Another sunny and warm winter day! Perfect time to be outside caching. Very clever multi. Thought both stages very well done. TFTMC

On a fun cache run with my mom this to end the year while the weather is nice! I didn’t realize how few geocaches I found this year! Guess that will be part of my resolutions. Thanks for placing and maintaining this awesome cache for us to find!

This is another of those caches that I’ve had on my list for 10 years but haven’t gone after yet. Thankfully we have had some experience with SparrowPI caches and knew what to look for so we made quick work of it. Thanks for the fun one!

I've come across this cache a couple of times online and decided that I would finally attempt it today. I'm currently staying with a friend in the area and I was right around the corner from here. I recognized the area relatively fast because this was the 1st place in Colorado that I had ever went for a run around when I first arrived.

The first stage took me a little bit of time. I had read in the comments that the coordinates were slightly off so I attempted searching areas that turned out to be way off. Turns out the coordinates were pretty spot on for me. I spent some time reading through previous logs at 1st waypoint and figured that I must have been missing something obvious. Sure enough, after patiently walking around, I soon spotted something I was surprised I missed.

When I saw where the final was located, I silently laughed. When I went for my 1st run out here, I had originally chosen this area but ended up avoiding it because of the Air Force warning sign. This time around, seeing as how cachers had been visiting this spot for many years, I decided to follow the trail.

A quick walk in the woods and the water level was low enough to not be concerned. Finally making it to ground zero, I wandered around a little bit before I almost literally stumbled across this one. I've found a couple of caches hidden in a similar style and these are always nice to come across. That and this looks like it's the original container, how awesome! On top of that, the original log from 13 years ago is still inside and being signed, which I'm giving this cache a favorite for just for that alone.

On my way back, I had debated on going inside the storm drain to read the sign on the other side. My thoughts of that were ended as I saw a couple coming from the other side through the drain. Being that I didn't know if I was allowed to be here, I decided to head back to the truck instead. They weren't far behind me and seemed like normal civilians so I still don't know what the validity of that Air Force sign is haha.

Out of all of the cache types, multi-cache's seem to be the one's that I visit the least of, at least when it comes to the ratio available around me. In 2016, I was able to complete a 52 day puzzle cache streak and I think I would like to attempt to see how many days in a row of multi-cache's I can get to. This cache will mark the 1st day.

TFTC SL!

Boy am I glad I didn't listen to all the scare tactics about how hard this cache is. It did take about 10 minutes to find stage one but that was mostly because of muggles. A short drive to the final & trail parking. A 10 minute walk and an easy creek crossing brought me right to the final. Easy Peasy but then I did start caching in 2003.

We tried this one back in March and due to the coords being a bit off, we expanded our search area waaaaay too far. No need to look under rocks and on branches :O( With the advice from a previous cacher, we spotted the first stage quickly today. Off in the car to stage two! Enjoyed a quiet, short hike to GZ. Lots of choices, but found the container at our second choice. Signed a dry log and placed back in the cache that is getting up there in years ;o). Thanks for a fun multi.

Watch out for ticks. I found a Rocky Mountain Wood Tick in my front pants pocket after returning from the find.

Here's a link to a page describing this exact tick: http://www.tickbites.net/rocky-mountain-wood-tick-dermacentor-andersoni/

Stay in the trail as long as you can. Use a walking stick. Wear jeans. Put on some DEET. Bring a small medi pack and a writing pen. A bottle of water could be helpful. Keep your common sense (don't stick bare hands down any tree holes). Although children and pets could do the walk and slight bushwacking, because it is in the woods, use caution and do s tick check when you return to the streets.

It's an old cache, which makes it exciting. It's also a challenge to find, which makes it satisfying when you finally figure it all out. Expect to spend a total of two to three hours hiking and seeking this cache. All time added, it took me nearly 2 hours.

Just as the first stage coordinates are a little off, so are the second. The idea, as I understand it, is that older geocaches didn't put you right at the spot, but about 16 feet from it. Whether this characteristic is because the GPS had less accuracy in the past or because the game was more hunt-based in the past, it's just something to note that helped me when I considered it while seeking out this cache.

The cache log is damp, but not damaged because it's in a plastic Baggie. As long as fellow cachers are careful, this could last another 10 years.

Squeeeee! Such a cool cache! Is this what Geocaching was like 11 years ago? Thank you for keeping this one alive! I had to look through the logs before I caught onto the clue. Heck - even this log has clues in it for those looking hard enough.

Shucks. Will have to give it another try later.

Wow, checked every conceivable hidey-hole and branch and rock. No joy. Will watch logs to see if this is missing after almost a year or if WE missed it!

Took my time this time around, after missing it once and then seeing others find this one recently, and finally made the find. Stage one still took me awhile to discover, GZ was a little off, but eventually found it. Second stage was fun. Like some before I literally stumbled across the cache. Got lucky tonight. TFTC!!

That was a fun cache! After talking to RPieperco about this cache I realized I needed to give this another go. We had tried to find the first clue shortly after we started caching, but couldn't find it. Made quick work of it today and enjoyed a short hike to the final. Tftc!
