Hello everyone, my name is Chubs the mouse and this is my very first cache. I’m so excited to get started! There’s an empty mousey home I wanted to place it in and I just know everyone is going to love this hide. I’ve evEn p^ann#|| ouT [H] +/>ci>~~< im/Rulr/ =/-squeak->-atttn+Mse…

*********TRANSMISSION INTERRRUPTED*********

Haha! Your cache and all its yummy valuables inside are mine! Soon the mice will become extinct, and I, Sneaky Snake, shall rule all the land of your worthless rodent ancestors! Now I make my escape, assisted by my superior senses and advanced snakeskin technology!

Will you help Chubs get his cache back from Sneaky Snake?

Option 1
For Android smartphones, use this app to get started!

Option 2
So you’ve begged and you’ve pleaded to team up with your android-user friends. You’ve even considered changing your cell plan just for this intriguing cache! (We’re flattered by the way) So it won’t be quite the same experience; pizzazz, precision, and acoustic sweetening may be absent, but if it’s just another smiley to you, our minions have toiled away and done the best they could to also make this version for most other mobile devices. Please note at this time it does NOT work with chrome, but should work with most other mobile web browsers.

NOTE: To complete this cache you will need a WEB enabled device with GPS

PS: Take a mouse and let us know when it's empty!

TIPS:
-This adventure will go quicker the more people you bring and more devices you use!
-Make some noise and watch your step when you're off the trails, there are rattlesnakes in the area
-Do NOT place anything scented in the cache! Previous container was eaten by a bear/deer/bigfoot
-Stay on the trails as long as possible, it should be obvious when you need to leave

I was out and about caching with herndonrd and the5millers and this cache was one of our primary targets. I did what I do best and ruled out all the places where a cache wasn't placed. I put up with the cheerful demeanor of herndonrd because he finds difficult caches like this one, and I firmly believe that one's likeability is directly related to his or her skills at finding a cache (which is why I don't like my children and only consider PayMeCache an acquaintance). After we did the whole sign and replace thing we celebrated our victory by heading back to the car and driving off to another one.

I enjoyed this puzzle in part because it gets me very close to finally completing the Uber Mystery Challenge (less than thirty to go). In addition, finding a puzzle today helps with another puzzle (canned language about my insanity to follow).

I chose today to look for this one because I signed an insane challenge in California that requires me to find a puzzle cache on every calendar day of the year (save February 29th) in order to meet the logging requirements. I am thrilled to be one day closer to completing the challenge, though I still have just over sixty days to go. Thanks for the fun puzzle, hide, and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.

P. S. No animals (snakes or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.

Out caching with FeartheFish, the5millers and magic cacher. Snake was over near black and white; no snakes detected here. TFTC!

We finally made it back to this area and were able to make the find. We did run into a rattlesnakes home while looking for a different cache. We were fortunate to have not had any incidents with that guy. Here with Fearthefish and Herndonrd.
Keeping our streak alive. Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

Found using Cachly on iPhone!

Well, that was interesting... I was surprised at the little "twist" and it took longer than I expected as my phone seemed to reset at the wrong time even though I had plenty of time left. Thanks for such a creative cache, and fun experience. My little "Chubs" was happy to be saved!!!

I finally got this one! I exclusively use i products so I pushed to get that option operating. I was never able to get the site to acknowledge my iPhone 6s using either the geocaching or Cachly app even though I definitely had location services turned on. I had gotten it to work on my mini iPad but never got out to complete the mystery. I finally got the chance but had forgotten how i got it to work. After several attempts through Cachly where I never got the "script" I tried it through the new geocaching app & it worked.
So down the road I went making some assumptions that turned out to be wrong so further down the road I went with another idea and it worked. But then, all of a sudden, a twist! After running around for a while I finally got that sneaky snake & I was able to save a purple Chubb. All I can say is make sure it's dry when you start-I ended up with wet & muddy shoes, socks & pants.
