This cache replaces the original cache by mojedo just a few feet away. Keeping the Pony Express Series of cache series going. Have fun..

This is a rest stop cache but it can not be entered from the highway. There is a beautiful statue of a Pony Express rider not far from the hide. You might be interested in a Pony Express Trail Challenge cache (GC1PRHM). Also, take a little time and find the other cache in this rest area, COLORADO CACTUS CACHE #2 (GC942)

Day 6 of the 2018 Epic Geocaching Roadtrip with cactuslover. We traveled through western Nebraska, Eastern Colorado, and Western Kansas. Picked up some great caches. Quick find here and a good excuse to stretch our legs as we made our way south towards Arikaree and Mingo.

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide palser, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!
