Bring your flashlight! This night cache will lead you around the lake at Tomlinson Park, which is at Garrison & 51st Ave, across from a popular gardening supply store / nursery.

This night cache is dedicated to Robert Service's poem The Three Voices. They are the wind, the wave and the stars. If the wind's blowing across this little lake, you'll have all three elements in one place... so read the poem and imagine you're curled deep in your blanket next to a campfire, looking up at the heavens...

This park closes at 11 p.m.

Follow the trail of reflectors -- but you must position your flashlight next to your eye. (If you're using a wheelchair, use a strong flashlight. A good flashlight will help you see the reflectors from the paved bike path -- sparing your a ride over bumpy grass. A headlamp is strongly recommended for self-propelled wheelchair cachers.)

The cache is hidden behind a horizontal dead at the west edge of a small corpse of trees that are marked with multiple reflectors of a color different from the "regular" reflectors that lit the trail. The reflectors change style and color near the end. You're looking for a camo pill bottle.

Once you've found it, don't stop. I have placed several other night caches on this side of town -- all within a short drive of each other. They include: GC1K9ZK, GC1KN66, GC1J8ZM, GC1HVQC, GC1K9EQ, GC1K85T. Make a night of it.

Nice stroll along the lake here. I'm waiting for the rest of the group to get here with me. This was the second of two caches that I grabbed with the group after a nearby event. It's always fun to be able to go geocaching with others who share my addiction, I mean obsession, I mean hobby.

We thought we would attempt our very first night cache. We had a lovely stroll around the lake. We found the trees with all the reflectors but couldn't find the cache. Three Voices is my favorite Robert Service poem.

I really enjoyed this location and the search for the cache. I'm dropping a fav point if I get a smiley here. I followed the lights to GZ using my Petzl Actik core headlamp (awesome by the way) , but no camo'd pill bottle was found. I'll add this to my watch list and will search again once somebody confirms it is actually there.
CO may want to check on this, since it hasn't been found in over a year.

Found it at 1:04 a.m. with full moon. Trails were easy to follow. so hard to find at night, we searched for about 20 minutes almost gave up than stumbled upon it -dirt bros

Came a second time, this time during the day, to look for the final with another experienced geocacher. Searched high and low but didn't find the container. Could the CO please check and see if it is still there? If the container is there, could the CO please message me a hint as to its whereabouts? According to prior logs, it should be an easy find.

Found a tree with 2 white reflectors on it but no cache or concrete or any other color reflector. Since this hasn't been found in a while perhaps it needs to be checked on...

Sadly we did not see a container at the end, although we were pretty confident we had the correct location. We did run into a resident of the park who we accidentally frightened. Seeing two people with flashlights in the dark he assumed we were cops. What a relief to us all that we were just geocaching (we explained what that was and what we were looking for) and he just wanted to find his girlfriend's crackpipe so they could get to bed. We wished each other well and everyone went about our own searches.
