A cache along McKay Lake.
You will be searching for a camoed plastic container along the banks of the lake. Watch out for fishermen and bring repellent in the warm weather. If there is snow on the ground or if the ground is wet this will add another star or two to the terrain and difficulty rating. The cache contains a log book, pen and pencil, and a variety of trading items. Enjoy the hunt!

Seems like maybe this one was deeper in the brush than I wanted to go, especially with the mosquitoes swarming. I did find a small liquor bottle on the ground and thought maybe I was close- this goes back to a funny story when my brother in law was caching with us, looking for Mondos along some rural roads. Of course, at every cache site/telephone pole, there were discarded liquor bottles. My brother in law joked that Mondo must have a drinking problem! So whenever we see discarded liquor bottles now, we say “Look, Mondo was here!”

Great hide. Had to dodge some low branches, thistles, and cob webs. My GPS took me to within 4’ of the posted coordinates. I suggest wearing long pants depending on the season.

Finally! Fixed my last blue face around the lake. Don’t know why this was so hard the other (many) times I’ve been out. I swear I looked at that same place a dozen or more times. Doesn’t help that my GPS keeps trying to take me 30 feet further into the bramble TFTC!
