So I was looking outside watching the ferocious wind blowing and debating about going out to be FTF on this cache. All of a sudden, Ernie's name appeared. Okay.....I can get 2TF if I hurry. Since I never do anything easy, I parked on the east side of Hwy. 24 1/4 mile from the cache. Crossed the highway and walked west on the bike path. Found this easy cache without a problem with big feet leading right to it. Woo Hoo. SL and enjoyed my walk back to my truck. Thanks 3Williams Kidz for another good one. Gets a FAV

10:30am - FTF! When I left home near Manitou a little after 10 it was sunny and 32 degrees with a light wind. The car thermometer kept creeping lower and lower as I got closer -- 25 in Green Mountain Falls, 21 in Woodland Park. At GZ, it said 17 degrees and there was a stiff wind blowing yesterday's snow in sheets across the highway. Fortunately there was nobody in sight behind me as I pulled over and it didn’t take long to walk from the car to retrieve the cache. There were already some car tracks and footprints in the snow... uh oh! But the FTF spot was still blank so I guess the tracks must have been from the CO. I brought the cache back to the car to sign the log and to swap trackables, then waited for another break in traffic to replace it. Thanks for the FTF prize! Traded TBs, TFTC!
