If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, will somebody come along and attach a little container to it?  Yes.

I like to ponder existential questions when hiking in the woods.  I also like a place with a view and I like the way old trees look.  You can see the big buildings of Denver from here, and you can be happy that you are not there.

My dad and I decided to come out to Carnage Canyon today to get some of the caches up here. We took the hard way up the side of the mountain to the roads, but once we got on a real trail it was much easier. SL. TFTC!

Hah, yes, in my experience someone will come by and attach a little container to it. With access being so wonky the past couple years I'm not surprised I'm only the third visitor since the cache was placed at the end of 2013. I thought I might be able to access the cache fairly easily from 87J over the winter, but there's a gate a ways down the road that made it kind of impractical. So instead I made the hike in from Lefthand Canyon Rd. Phew, that elevation change really adds up, doesn't it?
