This is an easy cache to get you into this beautiful hiking area. Lots of outdoor type-goodies for the FTF.
Be sure to have decent ground clearance on your vehicle - because the road is a bit rutted. Also, for those of you who have never been to this area - the road to get to the cache is County Road 15, off highway 67. the turnoff coordinates are: N 38° 19.674, W 105° 06.323.

Cache is in great shape, right where it was when I found it three years ago. Dropped a TB here 'cause I thought it might have a better chance of being found and moving on than up at the SORTING HAT cache.

I needed to get out on the 2 wheeler this morning and thought I would grab a few caches along the way. This one made the list. Will return and hike the trail later this fall. Cache is in great shape. TFTC SL

After I punctured my CamelBack at my first cache (to the East at the top of this range), I canceled the downhill portion of this morning's caching hike. I decided to stop at this park and make a few finds and enjoy the outdoors.

THis was easy enough to find, but not as easy to grab. A couple had walked this way and I chose to wait them out. Slow stroll for them. hehe
