Limericks make me laugh. I hope you enjoy them too. This cache is a limerick collection point. Note the optional but fun logging requirement.
Please post your favorite limerick for us to read.

The Golden Rule: Now, I know that some limericks use, er, unsavory language, so here's the rule. If your favorite limerick uses any of George Carlin's famous "Seven Words You Can' Say on Television" -- or any other words that might make your grandmother blush, mask some of the letters with other characters, like @$$#%. This will help keep the cache page suitable for all cachers.

(If you don't, I'll have to delete your log. I'd really prefer not to, so stick to the rule, please.)

Here is the first limerick I ever heard. It's been one of my favorites ever since.

There was an old lady from Clyde
who ate forty green apples and died.
The apples fermented
inside the lamented
and made cider inside her insides.

You are looking for a camouflaged 2" diameter x 4" pill bottle, which was originally stocked with a log book, a pencil, and a few kid-friendly trade items. After you've found it, pause a moment and enjoy the view of Maple Grove Reservoir.

Extra Kudos if you compose an original limerick of your own. If you do, please tell us, so we can give you a tip o' the hat. Here are some limerick writing instructions.

NOTE: If you bring little kids to this cache, watch them carefully. There's an irrigation canal nearby.

Did not find but since this was our first try we learned to look at the activity page first! So good lesson!

Patrick and Sarah sought a cache!
Only to find a snake in the grass.
The hint was fine,
we spent much time,
Only to read, not found in a year!
We laughed and left in good cheer.

Another election year comes to a close. Honoring the memories with two limericks.

Election promotion seems stale
Compared to the pain of email
When her own private servers
Were cracked by observers
Ms. Clinton's press agents went pale.

Election year chaos abounds
When the man with the hair makes his rounds
We'll give Donald Trump
A swift kick in the rump
If he makes any more sounds.
