You will then need to complete the "Morrison Colorado Adventure" Adventure Lab caches in order to get the final coordinates and instructions on how to access the physical container.

You'll have ten stops in the series and after each stop you will receive a number in the coordinates to the final.

N39 AB.CDE    W105 FG.HJK

Once at the final, you will need a combination to unlock the container. The combination will also be accessed through the adventure lab series. I have included the codes for 10 of my geocoins as bonus discoveries for you after each stop on your adventure. These codes (logging codes on the coins) will be used to determine the combination to access the final container. The combination is:

  • Second Character of my Dinosaur Series - Tyrannosaurus Rex Geocoin
  • First Character of my Trilobite Geocoin
  • Fourth Character of my 2005 Colorado Geocoin
  • Third Character of my Colorado GeoArt Geocoin - COPPER!!!
  • Second Character of my Geocaching Colorado 2010 Geocoin

BE SURE TO INPUT COMBO AGAIN TO CLOSE CACHE!!!

You may retrieve the coordinate values and geocoin codes at anytime after you have completed the tour by viewing the journal of the Morrison Colorado Adventure Lab series.

We loved finding all but one of the Lab Caches. Unfortunately the museum at Red Rocks is totally locked down & inaccessible. I quickly contacted the CO and he happily provided what I was missing to get this final. Enjoyed the nice walk out there too.

This is one of the best adventure labs we have done and we’ve been doing a lot lately. Giving it a favorite point especially for all the effort this obviously took with the geocoin connection and the bonus multi-cache. We did the lab yesterday and didn’t know how to find the bonus cache but the CO got back to us right away. If you love history, geology, ans fossils the Morrison Colorado Adventue Lab and this bonus cache are a MUST! We took our time walking around Dinosaur Ridge today and loved the footprints and fossils. But personally, my favorite is the ripple marks in the sand. Here is half of geocyclists85 pointing them out. It was nice to get some fresh air before teleworking again tomorrow. We are lucky here with all of our space in Colorado that we can do something like this and still stay six feet apart as advised for COVID-19. Thanks for the adventure and the cool bonus cache.

Pi Day. What a day. A great adventure and challenge. Have never stopped before in Morrison so interesting to walk around town. Was worried Red Rocks would be closed because of the Mayor's virus closures. As it turned out, Red Rocks was open, but the visitors center is closed till at least April 12 as best I remember the sign. Luckily was able to get to lower level and see answer through window. Loved the education and the TBs given. Easily found container at new coords. Getting it open was the hard part. Did the first calculations, walked 500' to container and it wouldn't open. Boo. Back to car. Figured out 3 more ways to come up with code as we read the instructions (our fault not grizzlycacher's). We over "thunk" it. Wanted to make sure we only had to walk up to container once more so tried to think of every possibility. But, the 4th way stuck out, I figured it would have something to do with that, but would never have guessed it. Back up we go. This time it opened first try. SUCCESS. We really enjoyed this one. Of course finally getting the lock open and log signed was big relief. Gets a favorite. sl

Struggled as we didn’t realize we should search for a multi to find the bonus cache. (We are new to adventure labs). We got to the coordinates yesterday with no trouble but didn’t have the code. Went home and thought about it some more and weatherman64 figured it out. Came back with the code today to make the find! TFTC!
