I have rented a campervan for 24 days to go geocaching and exploring around the western part of the US.
Today I drove from Denver to Mingo, Kansas to pick up the oldest active geocache in the world. On my way there I did a little detour and was lucky enough to get an ftf. After Mingo, I drove up to Haigler so I could get a geocache in Nebraska as well. Then I returned to Denver to pick up a mugglefriend at the airport. An almost 600 miles drive that took 10 hours. Was it worth it? Yeah!!!

On my walk to pick up the van. Coords spot on, quick find. Tftc, greetings from Norway

Cords lead to a couple possibilities, about 20' off. Thanks for the hides in the area. SL

So, here I am, 2 caches shy of 100 caches in a month. (Something I've never done before.) Off I go at lunch to get the job done. I have a couple rays to fill for the 360 degrees of Colorado over this way, may as well see if I can turn a couple of them green, too. As I'm looking the nearby school let out for lunch. A few kids walked across the park, but no one too close. Made me feel like I was being a little weird and creepy, though. I almost didn't find this one, the natural camo is pretty thick. Thank you for not making this one army green, I may have searched for an hour! Thanks for the smiley! Find #1843.
