Do not attempt this cache if GZ is anything but dry. The proper equipment is recommended as the potential to fall is pretty high. Getting to GZ may have its own challenges as well. If you chose your path wisely, it may not be bad. You will likely have to cross water that’s 3 inches to 3ft in depth depending on how you chose to approach it. I didnt find an easier way. The name is a description of what’s at the posted coordinates and should give anyone an idea of what they are up against before heading out. A safety rope is strongly recommended for the decent. You are going to have to get close to find it. A tott from below isnt going to help you. Congratulations to LostinDenver, WindAtMyBack, intrepiidexplorer, 2lablovers, and Herndonrd for their cooperative effort and three trips to GZ to make the FTF!!!

We started on the wrong side at first but eventually crossed the bridge and made our way over to the right spot. We climbed the host and walked along the branches but couldn't spot anything that resembled a cache.

Really enjoyed the area and hoping to return when we have some more time to put towards it but will probably wait until another visitor is able to verify that it's still there.

Well, that was interesting... Glad to have WingsAndTales and Billkat working to keep the TOTT in place as it twisted a bit and lurched on its marginal support. Had to tie it in place before stepping onto something firmer. Nice hide, and one of the few caches I've been to recently that has accurate D/T. Thanks for the fun!!

Tough one. Not all TTOTs are created equal and ours was just barely up to the task. I'm not sure which was harder - COpackrat going there or watching her do it. Billkat got some photos but they would be spoilers. TFTC

Wow! This one had two of us supporting the other one while keeping the tott from swaying and bending and collapsing. Teamwork. I don’t know which one of us was the most terrified. Copackrat had the honors and kissed Mother Earth on the return. Tftc!

Made my way over here just to check it out on this wonderful sunny Sunday afternoon. Walking amongst the yuccas looking for ground zero, I came across this beautiful water fowl filled area with ducks taking off left and right. Where I came from the ground was not wet at all, but maybe that's because it's been such a dry winter.

I decided to attempt it even though I was all alone and without any safety gear. In my younger days, I would climb trees like this for fun and adventure. As I'm late in my forties, I don't know if it was the wisest move, but I went ahead and did it anyway. God had me.

Remembering those skills like it was yesterday and I was 30+ years younger, I made my way to a particular location to where I looked up and spied the cache. Scoot here, swing a leg there, put a hand here and pull until I was in a safe location to reach for the Geocache to sign, which I successfully did.

Quickly reversing my course, I made my way back down to Terra Firma with a smile knowing I am one more square closer to a completed triple fizzy board.

Thank you for the Geocache in this absolutely beautiful location. I can say that once the spring and summer rains come, getting here will certainly be more of a challenge.

We (YG, BCH and myself) kindof put a plan together to give this one a shot.
I brought my Home Depot on wheels up here with one of my long but light ladders.
At GZ, I noticed that the grassy area was trampled flat since I was up here back in December and the old tree was still in snarley shape.
It ended up being a very fun group find.

Thanks for a challenging hide to hunt for!
